Hands-On Heritage: Class 11 & 12 Field Study Visit to the Block Printing Karkhana (ODOP Experience) ✨
We are delighted to share that the students of Class 11 and 12 successfully completed their insightful Field Study visit to the Block Printing Karkhana on 29th November 2025.
The visit became truly memorable as students explored one of our district’s proud traditional industries, reinforcing the spirit of “ Vocal for Local ” and the vision of the One District One Product (ODOP ) initiative.
A special highlight of the visit was the interaction with Mr. Ajay Kumar, the resource person, who not only explained the entire block-printing process with exceptional clarity but also inspired the students to practically imprint the block themselves. His patience, expertise, and willingness to answer every query greatly enriched the learning experience.
Through this visit, students gained valuable insights into:
- The significance of the ODOP initiative and promotion of local craftsmanship
- Government schemes, grants, and financial assistance are available for budding entrepreneurs
- Training and skill-development facilities for artisans
- Authentic block-printing techniques and quality processes
- Hands-on exposure directly supporting their CBSE Entrepreneurship project
The field study truly bridged classroom learning with real-world industry practices, leaving students motivated and appreciative of local art, culture, and enterprise.
